Key Coalition of Alaska educates legislators about the importance of sustaining community-based services for people with disabilities and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) through their annual statewide Key Campaign advocacy efforts.
Each year, the Key Coalition organization sends members and advocates to Juneau to speak with legislators about public policy issues affecting people who experience a disability.
Key Coalition members are individuals, family members, care givers, care providers, representatives, businesses, organizations and advocates — anyone who is concerned in the rights and full inclusion and the dignity and dreams of individuals who experience disabilities.
Key Coalition, and its associated community chapters, hold meetings that lead into the annual Key Campaign, with similar advocacy rallies across urban and rural Alaska. Please visit Campaign Events for details.
